P&O Kids began with a childhood memory: elegant dressing, soft knitted layers and beautiful cotton dresses chosen with care. That timeless sense of style became the inspiration for a baby and children’s boutique built around pieces that feel special, distinctive and worth remembering.
Where it began
When the founder was expecting her son, Kwanza, she wanted to find distinctive baby clothing in Kenya — especially beautiful knits, swaddles, rompers and sweaters with a sense of pure, understated elegance.
Finding the pieces she imagined was not always easy. P&O Kids grew from the belief that other parents were also looking for something a little different: thoughtful pieces that make dressing a little one feel special.
Knits, occasionwear & rare finds
The journey began with knitted baby clothing and blankets for the youngest babies. Over time, the collection grew to include distinctive cotton outfits, occasionwear and other rare finds for babies and young children.
P&O Kids is also beginning to introduce selected pieces under its own label, while keeping the same focus on character, detail and timeless style.
Rare by design
Our selection is intentional. We do not try to offer everything or simply follow what is common in the market. We look for pieces with character, beautiful finishing and a sense of timeless elegance.
Many designs are sourced in limited quantities, and most are not restocked once sold out. That helps keep our collections fresh and gives parents the pleasure of discovering something that will not be seen everywhere.
